REAL NAME: Brady Mordon

BACKGROUND: Brady Mordon is a mutant with vast mental powers.  For years he had no idea how to employ his ability in anything but criminal enterprise, but he was basically too good and honest for that.  Then one day he witnessed a fight between N.U.K.E. and several other villains.  During a moment of distraction Brady was able to make one villain think another villain was N.U.K.E. and he attacked him.   This allowed the hero to win.  N.U.K.E. figured out quickly he had help, and from his years of working with High Justice he was able to discern the sickly kid who looked like he had a headache was his helper.  N.U.K.E. thanked him, gave him an autographed picture and that would have been it.  Only N.U.K.E. got fired from High Justice for inadvertently revealing Lionheart’s secreti identity.  Brady e-mailed N.U.K.E. with his condolences.  Hearing from the now young man gave N.U.K.E. the idea of forming his own team.  So N.U.K.E. spoke with Brady personally and soon Mordon, Master of Illusion was born!

Mordon was slain during the EDI by a clone of Extreme Soldier.

PERSONALITY: Brady is an aspiring super hero and is still full of gee-whiz, gosh-darn optimism despite his team’s lack of success.  He believes very strongly in N.U.K.E. and supports him in everything.  It is this cheerleader attitude that annoys his team mate Ultima so much.

POWERS:  Mordon is able to create mental illusions, from simple things like altering his clothes to making someone’s gun look like a living snake.  He has honed his ability so that he is rather skilled.  However the more people he tries to use his power against the weaker it becomes.  Using his personal illusion also eats up his concentration so he is less effective than he could be.  As a result N.U.K.E. often uses him in secret when he can, placing him someplace safe and out of the line of fire so he can use his illusions to maximum effect.  One major problem is that when people know Mordon is involved it is easier for them to discount his illusions.

APPEARANCE: Brady is slight of build.  He stands five foot five, is skinny and has bad skin tone.  He is also near-sighted and wears glasses to compensate.  As Mordon, Master of Illusion he creates a slight glamour about him to make himself appear more impressive.  His cloaks become splendid crimson and purple, moving as if in an invisible breeze.  He also grows over six inches taller and his squeaky voice becomes deep and impressive.  These illusions only work on people, however.  Cameras and the like see right through it.
