BACKGROUND: Kelly had always been a problem child.  In school she was always getting in fights, both verbal and physical, with students, teachers, whoever got in her face.  She wound up doing lots of detention, getting suspended a lot and her parents stopped answering the phone a long time ago because they were tired of listening to her teachers calling.  It was not their fault, of course; the system was supposed to raise their little girl, wasn't it?  They refused to admit that their baby girl was a bitch.

Finally they shipped her off to reform school.  There Kelly got into as much trouble as everywhere else, only now she was dealing with girls as tough as her.  The fights were harder to win, but win them she did.  When she finally graduated she was at loose ends and didn't know what to do.  That was when someone at the school suggested the army as a joke.

Kelly took it seriously.

In the Army she had a problem with discipline, but her superiors liked her aggression and initiative.  She was groomed for Ranger training and to her own surprise she qualified and was made part of a team.

Her team hated her.  But Kelly was okay with that, she was hated all her life and had no problem with a little more.  For several years she served with distinction, until a little mess in Kosovo where her team was on recon duty and ran into a group of Serb Nationalists bent on killing some Americans.  Kelly and her team fought their way out of the mess but she was the only one to survive.  Someone had to pay for the snafu and since no one liked Kelly in the first place...

Bitter, dishonarbly discharged, Kelly had a host of skills but no references.  She became a bodyguard for a year and was good at her job, but it was when she met Bob Hobbes that her life changed.  Bob wanted a piece of Kelly's employer, the man owed him lots of money and wasn't willing to hand it over willingly.  So Bob did his Superbeast thing and attacked the man in his club.  To Bob's surprise this woman interposed her body between him and his target, whipped out a pair of 10mm Glocks and proceeded to open up on his head.  Bob didn't smell any fear.

It was love.

Later, after he had set her down after abducting her from the club, Bob offered her a proposal, a partnership.  Kelly wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea at first but when she heard Bob had three brothers who were also werewolves, then an idea occurred to her.  The Company of Wolves always fell apart.  Kelly ran things on one mission, which was thwarted by The newly created Vindicators.  She was put in prison, but was released by Dr. Hades who conducted an experiment upon her to transfer some of NUKE's powers into her.  She developed similar abilities to a lesser extent, as well as new ones.  But before she could learn how to most effectively employ them The Vindicators once again defeated her and put her in prison again.

POWERS/SKILLS: Kelly has the ability to fire bolts of "megatomic force", can fly and can cover herself in a protective sheath of "quantum material" that protects her from physical harm.  She is also able to teleport short distances.

Kelly is in excellent physical shape, a perfect combination of lean muscle and flexibility.  She is highly trained in a no-nonsense form of martial arts, has extensive training in military tactics as well as a wide variety of firearms and infantry support weapons.

PERSONALITY: Kelly has a never quit, never-say-die attitude.  While not fearless, she has such an inner drive and potential one-track mind that she can ignore her fear to "get it done".  She does not play well with others, believing firmly that her way is the right way, period.  She has no friends, doesn't want any friends, and isn't afraid of using people and throwing them away.  Her utter disinterest in engaging in sexual relations with the Hobbes brothers has only made them want her more.
