Over the years the Science Squad employed a variety of headquarters, both temporary to more permanent.  The underground bunker located some miles North of town was their most extensive, a place of refuge where they could keep trophies of past adventures as well as where to conduct secret experiments.

The facility in Vancouver was discovered and employed by The Neo Phyters.  The 'Phyters have disbanded and some members now serve as Vindicators and the facility is no longer being actively employed.  An inventory of the base's contents has been conducted and some of the more dangerous/exotic materials have been removed.

Level One: This level is the closest to the surface.  Here the Science Squad kept their aircraft.  Using advanced composite materials, their vehicles were all but radar invisible, allowing them to come and go without betraying their base's location.

H-1/J-1: Helicopter/Jet hangars. the indented lines show the location of the elevators and hangars.  Above there is a false hill with hinged doors, they are now rusted shut.

The Science Squad often employed a variety of helicopters for short range trips.  The jets were always VTOL capable, and designed for endurance more than for speed and maneuverability.

T-2: Workshop. This is where the Science Squad worked on their inventions on benches along the east and west walls and on the work table in the center of the room.  Against the south wall is a tool chest.

P-2: Photo Analysis Lab.  Now out dated, this room contains a micro viewer with shelves of old, expired photo developing chemicals.  There is a light table in the center of the room and photo files along the southern wall.

D: Darkroom.  There is a sink along the north wall and old cannisters of developing fluid in the south west corner.

Level Two: Meeting/Communications.

C-1: Communications room. The Science Squad possessed advanced equipment to monitor all manner of communications, from short wave to satellite, and could transmit without betraying the base's location.

C-2: Computer room.  This room contains the Science Squad's now-outdated computer equipment, although for it's time it was quite advanced.

G: Generator Room.  This room contains an emergency back up generator in case power from the mansion is cut.

L-2: Life Support.  The bunker/base gains fresh air via vents to the surface, but in the event of an emergency these vents can be closed and the internal air supply can be cleaned via submarine-like oxygen scrubbers.  The base's heating and air conditioning are also located here.

M-1: Meeting Room.  Although a bit theatrical, the Science Squad meeting room contains a circular table and six chairs.

M-2: Map Room.  A map display table fills the center of this room.  Maps are stored in drawers under the table as well in large cabinets along the walls.  The walls are covered with mounting boards, they display detailed maps of the United States, the world and for some reason detailed photographs of the moon.

M-3: Monitor Room.  From this room the Science Squad could receive video images from basic television, cable and satellite sources, both civillian and military.  Combined with feeds from the Communications Room the Science Squad were able to actually video conference years before such procedures were commonplace.

S-4: Shooting Range.  This is where the Science Squad tests their weapons and hone their targeting skills.  Holographic targets can be displayed on the western wall, which has been reinforced to resist the impact of bullets and other arms.  The wall is pock marked with various bullet holes and burns from more exotic weapons.

T-1A: This part of the base is open to the trophy room below, with a balcony.

Level Three: The residential level, this is where the tunnel leading from the surface reaches the base.

R: Recreation room: The walls of this room are lined with bookshelves containing everything from legal texts to well-worn paperbacks.  There is a coffee table and comfortable chair in the northwest corner of this room.  The room also contains what is now an old television set some easy chairs and a poker table with a half dozen chairs.

Kitchen: Complete with a refridgerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine.

P: Pantry. the shelves were once stocked with a wide variety of goods, but nowstand empty save for a fine layer of dust.

Q: Quarters.  Four sets of rooms are here for Science Heroes spending a night away from home.  Each one contains a bed, a chest of drawers, a night table, cabinets, and a small chair.

T-1: Trophy Room.  Spoils from a hundred adventures adorn this room on the walls, the floor, the ceiling, and in display cabinets.  Anything from the fantastic to the mundane can be seen here.

G: Gymnasium. The gym contains a large array of exercise equipment; trampoline, set of weights, mats for wrestling/martial arts, etc.

ML/WL: Mens and Womens Locker Rooms.

W: Weapons Storage.  Kept under lock and key is a small arsenal of conventional and exotic weapons to aid the Science Squad on their many and varied adventures.

A: Ammunition Room.  Like the arms, the ammunition is both mundane and unusual (i.e. tranquilizer bullets).

Level Four: Science Level.

C-1: Cybernetics Lab. This room contains banks and banks of computer and electronic equipment specially designed for the research of artificial intelligence.  There are various robotic spare parts here.

C-3: Chemistry Lab.  On the far North wall there are two cabinets containing the more dangerous chemicals (i.e. acids).  In the center of the room is a trio of table containing a variety of old experiments.  In the south part of the room are a radiation cylinder, another work table, and an electron microscope.  Against the wall are lightray generators that can produce various wavelengths.

E-1: Electronics Lab.  Along the north wall is a tool storage cabinet, battery recharger and a cannister of battery acid. Along the east wall are various workbenches.  Against the west wall is a micro-viewer which can project enlarged images of an object or call up diagrams from the HQ computer or any relevant devices or other inventions of interest, etc.  The device in the center corner of the room is an ultra-spectral light analyzer and a mold and die machine for pressing out electronic components.   In the southwest corner is the base's main power supply; formerly a power source for an alien vessel, it easily supplies power for the entire base.

I: Infirmary. Two beds lay along the eastern wall with cabinets and life support equipment.  There is another bed near the center of the room with sensor equipment capable of diagnosing and recommending treatment and prescriptions.  Along the southern wall are cabinets full of drugs and first aid equipment.

S-3: Storage.  This room contains various items, from spare clothes to spare parts.  Everything is catalogged according to an obscure filing system that only really made sense to whomever set it up.
