Real Name:  Antonio Morinelli
Background:
Antonio, or as his family calls him, Tony, grew up in a large, loving family, in Southern New Jersey, not far from Philadelphia.  he wanted to go into the family business, which is running a couple of nice family restaurants.  He grew up with an enormous appetite, as did his brothers and sisters.  Fortunately, both his mother and father like to cook a lot, so every meal had to be for large groups.  He learned to cook at a young age.  His mother told all of her kids, "One day, you'll have to cook for yourself.  And me, God willing."  So he became quite accomplished in the kitchen.

But there was one big difference between him and his siblings.  No, it wasn't the fact he was an altar boy (both his brothers were as well).  Or that he loved to play football (one brother played basketball, one baseball, and they all played lacrosse).  Even his sisters play rough-&-tumble, and his little sister is the tallest and a mean hoopster and volleyball player.  It's the fact that of all five children, his mutant gene became active.  When he was seventeen, he was riding his bike along the highway and lost control, falling off an overpass.  Before he crashed onto the turnpike below, he felt himself stop in mid-air.  His bike crashed and was run over by several vehicles, while he hung there.  It slowly dawned on him that he wasn't dead, watching himself from out of body, since there was no body below.  He was flying.  Slowly he moved himself back to the road he had been on and landed.  Then the grin split his face and he jumped and took off.  He literally flew home.

His parents were scared at first, but their parish priest insisted this was a blessing.  And his duty to his community by using this blessing is tremendous.  So they reported it to the federal authorities.  They offered him training, and after much discussion with his parents, siblings and friends, he agreed.  The Dynamos snapped him up.

After The Dynamos folded Tony returned home and uses his powers to help out local authorites and emergency services.

Skills:  Tony is a very talented chef, and unless others object, he will spend a lot of free time in the kitchen trying new recipes he devises, or gets in the mail from his family.  He loves to cook, and really enjoys when others love what he has created in the kitchen.  Other than that, typical seventeen-year-old things like high school math, sports trivia, and girl-watching.

Powers:  Tony can fly, at close to 250 mph.  He wears a very tough helmet and shoulder pads so he can smash into things.  The helmet also  helps keep his eyes clear of bugs.  He can fly without the eyes covered and they won't tear up, but he prefers having the extra protection.

Appearance:  Tony is about 5'10", and a lean 170 pounds.  He lifts weights to maintain his build, otherwise his souped-up metabolism would drop him probably to 140 or so.  He has dark hair, and a slight natural tan to his skin, and what used to be called a Roman nose.  He looks the Italian-American he is.

Personality:  Tony is fairly easy-going, though still a bit unsure at the hero thing.  He wants to do well, since he has the Church and his parents keeping an eye on him (The Jews invented guilt, the Catholics perfected it!).  He is a good Catholic boy, though he is no saint.  After all, that's what confession is for.  The one place he really lights up is the kitchen where he is boisterous, and almost flamboyant.
