Name: Oren Physical Description: Oren is a broad, craggy male of a more rugged stature than is typical for a member of his race that hasn’t opted for a more specialized form. The irregular metallic plates that comprise his skin are a golden hue, and his entire form gives the overall impression of mass. Slightly over two metres tall, he is fully half that across the shoulders. |

Secondary Skill: Oren chose his form to suit a mercenary lifestyle, and as a result is skilled at combat, be it ship weapons, blasters, or hand to hand. His hardened Vaathkreen skin makes him especially suited to absorb punishment. Tertiary Skills: Oren is a competent pilot, able to call up a course navigation plan and dock a ship without incident. He wouldn’t be one’s first choice to navigate an asteroid field at full throttle, however. Hobbies: As a mineral-based life form himself, Oren finds sandpainting to be a relaxing pastime. He is also a devotee of the Scrak genre of music, having an extensive collection. Languages: Vaathkree, Galactic Standard, Bocce |

History: Orel is the second
of four Stonesingers engendered by a
bonded pair of Vaathkree. Formed by
his instruction in The Deal at the age of ten, he chose for himself the
path of profit through conflict. Assuming a form a bit more
massive than what had become the norm for his race, he stood tall,
broad, and plated in a golden hue. He followed The Deal in a
variety of ways as the decades passed, as a trader, as a mercenary, as
private security. Shortly after the Clone Wars he had the
opportunity to acquire an SS-54 assault ship, due to its
misclassification as a light freighter. Hiring a hotshot Human
pilot, they spent a number of lucrative years in business
together. As the Republic trended toward Imperial and galactic
attitudes became more Humanocentric, they
on occasion had cause to reverse the apparent order of their business
relationship, in order to avoid trouble with Imperial checkpoints. After a long
and fruitful partnership, his now-aging companion decided to retire
from the business following the destruction of the second Death Star
and the coup staged by the forces of the so-called New Republic.
Having grown accustomed to the potential benefits of having a Human
'face' aboard, and needing a new primary pilot – Orel himself
preferring to have someone at the flight controls at times when he
himself might be off-ship conducting business – he put out word
regarding his need, and began interviewing applicants until he settled
upon an experienced old hand to handle his piloting needs. Player Name:
