REAL NAME: Unknown
AGE: Indeterminate
BASE OF OPERATIONS: Unknown
ASSOCIATES/ACCOMPLICES/MINIONS: The Alchemist,
The Artificer, The Druid, The Sorcerer, The Seer, Various zombies,
Graves
clan
AFFILIATIONS: Original Circle of Sorcery
APPEARANCE: The Necromancer is a disgusting figure, a man who looks like a walking corpse. Indeed he is a walking corpse, often replacing worn out body parts with fresh ones. The stench of formeldahyde follows him everywhere. He attempts to dress well, but Armani suits do absolutely nothing for him.
BACKGROUND: The Necromancer's origins are rather
muddled. It is known that he is not a member of the Graves clan,
although he has done business with them in the past (an exchange of
secrets/techniques,
perhaps). His accent suggests that he could be Egyptian, although
this could be faked (or the remnants of an Egyptian's tongue, who
knows?).
The Necromancer has the longest
known career of all the Circle; he has been beaten by numerous
heroes.
But the Necromancer is made of stern stuff-and if he isn't he can
always
find some stern stuff to make himself out of. He survives, sews
himself
back up, and comes back for more.
The Necromancer's current
whereabouts
are unknown.
PERSONALITY: The Necromancer, when he has the proper equipment, is something of a lecher. He is also a greedy, self-serving coward who would sell his mother for a good spleen. He shows little loyalty to anyone, but oddly enough has formed a friendship of sorts with the rest of the COS; certainly they are the first people to take him seriously and to tolerate him.
POWERS: The Necromancer is a living dead man,
comprised
of various body parts taken from fresh corpses. This makes him
very
resistant to damage, although fire and immolations are serious threats
to him. He has the ability to create zombies from fresh corpses,
although their life span is only measured in months so he has to
constantly
dig up new ones.
